About DRACULA: A Musical Burlesque Comedy

Returned from a summer in scenic Transylvania, the Geekenders have developed a taste for blood - and laughs!

Vancouver’s preeminent nerdlesque and theatre troupe sinks their teeth into Bram Stoker’s magnum-opus with ‘DRACULA: A Musical Burlesque Comedy’ - a hilarious and cheeky take on the world’s most-famous gothic horror tale!  This brand-new Nerdlesque Theatrical combines Geekenders’ trademark irreverence a la the Muppets, the polish and showmanship of a Vegas showgirl revue, with more bat-puns than you could shake a crucifix at.

‘DRACULA: A Musical Burlesque Comedy’ features an original script and parody jukebox soundtrack written by Lyssa Strata, and a cast of some of Vancouver’s silliest and sassiest performers, vocalists, and fresh-faced newbies ready to have the most FANG-tastic time on stage.

Get into the blood-sucking fun and kick off your Halloween Festivities with us at The Historic Cultch Theatre from September 28 -29, 2024 [matinee shows at 2pm, evening shows at 7].

We gratefully acknowledge that Geekenders operates primarily on the stolen traditional territories of the xwmÉ™θkwÉ™yÌ“É™m (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and SÉ™lÌ“ílwÉ™taÊ”/ Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples, and often tours into other traditional territories in what is now known as British Columbia. We do so to honour the original caretakers of these lands who have been here since time immemorial, and the Indigenous people who continue to activate, protect, and care for these lands.
